Archive for March, 2015

Well, let’s see how quickly I can throw an intro together. Why? Because I am once again writing my intro as the last bit before posting this blog as I decided to do the easier bits first. I know, it’s kind a cheating but sue me. this is possibly going to be really the shortest intro yet but I am already more then an hour over my intended bed time and my body is letting me know it’s demanding sleep.

We have this annoying tick (or ticks in the family) first restless legs, then hiccups .. both have come and gone and at the moment my head is starting to pound like crazy. Clearly in the space of a week my clock has adapted at least somewhat to the new rhytm of being up, early. I won’t say bright.

Other than that, please remember there are still a few days of March left and next week blogs I will at least answer some of the questions that people have asked me. So if you have any more questions, always wanted to ask me something, now is the time to do it!

This weeks blog is the remainder of the “going deeper questionnaire” although I had to delete one question that was so, well sadistic and hypothetical that I could not, did not want to answer it. I mean asking a question about which life is more important. What kind of person asks these things, so you won’t find the answer here, with that said ..

let’s kick this thing off!!

Well good evening, It’s been a busy week, I shan’t go into any more detail then that to protect parts of my real life. However good things are abound and hopefully the path I am on will stay it’s course well and true for the time being. It’s both very exciting and I think I amazed myself with how much change I have gone through the last week

The problem is that, well not really a problem I suppose in that sense of the world. It has shifted my sleeping patterns about three hours towards a rather more normal time that most normal people expect to adhere. Much unreasonable, but I have been good and going to bed a lot earlier then I have been going for a long long while.

So, what is the problem you ask? Well it means I am also a lot more tired and worn out. So, here I am sitting and committing some words to paper only to find out that it is getting closer to my bedtime (or rather closer to the time that my head will meet my keyboard unexpectedly), and I have little to nothing to write about.

What about the questions you were going to answer. Part of it is that I have had very little time to spit through my logfiles and find them. My deepest apologies to Miss Mermaid who submitted four questions, I will come around to them.

Also – this year seems to be much quieter on the asking question front then last year. But so be it. Remember, you can still file your questions as much as you want, except Mara ~*winks*~

So …. for this week: Eleven Questions, one at a time. This week is part 1.

It’s been a busy week and lots has happened. However I think one thing shocked more then all the others. And that is, of course, the death of Sir Terry Pratchett. While I have not read many of his books, I have been a fan of him and reading through all of disc world has been long on my todo list. I have seen him in programs about his love for computers and of course astronomy and his battle with Alzheimer’s. He always came across as a wonderful human being with a zest for life. I think he is one of the great writers of our time and will be deeply missed.

On the personal front there are some changes happening and I am both scared out of my minds and really excited. It’s going to take quite some getting used to, but it is really promising and making things moving in a direction I am happy to go. Sorry to be overly vague but while I wanted to share the good news – I do have my privacy and part of my life to safeguard as well.

I have received several questions for March Question and Answer Blogging Challenge and I am going to get around to answering them from next week onward. I really need to set some time aside over the next week to gather and collate all the questions I have received. Remember you have until midnight on the last day of March to ask me any questions, as many as you like!

For today, mostly because I am actually quite worn out and want to be somewhat in bed on time, I am going to go with some generic questions to entertain you all. Let’s see how far I will get with them.

There are somethings you hope for in life, a nice job, a nice quiet place to live where you feel safe from harm and above a good health. And it’s in that latter that things are seemingly going horribly awry. A couple of weeks I had a stinking cold, which seemed to coincide with the height of flu/cold going around. So with everything over and all, I thought that would be the last of it. Turns out it could not be further from the truth and the cold is back with a vengeance, bah.

As you can see I am feeling rather suitably sorry for myself tonight. But being under the weather is at least a little bit of an excuse. I just completely lost my train of thought here, so it took me a good five minutes to figure out what I had a good excuse for. But yes, I have an excuse for feeling a little bit sorry.

I like to remind everyone that this month is the March Bloggers Q&A month, so feel free to leave any questions that you want to ask. If you ask me questions over email or in-world, please be aware to actually note which one you want for the blog. Since people tend to ask me a lot of questions, sometimes it does get a bit confusing what people mean, and I hate to be rude to not answer their questions until a week or so later. So start asking people!

To star the questions of, I actually found several on Strawberry Singh’s blogging challenge page. I was looking for something light and easy to blog about  and I found two. This week will be the first edition, called “Have you ever SecondLifed”, and I will keep the 20 personal questions for another time when despair, ill health or lack of inspections strikes me.

So let’s get started and see if I have ever …. Second Lifed.

How does a year go past. On the success of the March blogger Q&A challenge in 2014, comes the much waited and long longed for sequel of 2015! Now with even more oomph (or something like that). Of course this technically means I have now also fulfilled my “one blog a week” directive. But do not worry my dear readers, I shall post faithfully at the usual time!

So here goes as per usual. Some of you all may know this already. Throughout the blogosphere, March is known as the question and answer month. I have run the March Q&A challenge for the last three years previous as well, so I think we are sticking with this. So, the rules:

So here’s the deal ….
You ask me a question and I’ll answer them.

So for a whole month long you get to quick-fire,
interrogate, cross examine me to your hearts content.

I’ll end this neatly .. on the 31st of March at midnight UTC.

In return, I promise I will answer all and any question you will ask me. Even if that answer is “none of your business”. And no don’t go asking where I live if you are not prepared for an answer like that or much in line.

Leave your question in my comments,
poke me within Second Life,

send me an email at lex (dot) berchot (a-t) googlemail (dot) com.

Hopefully until soon!
Stay safe and have fun!

There are so many things I would like to write about, that my mind is almost positively overflowing with ideas or at least with things I want to write about. There is an answer that I want to pen down at some time in response to Miss Anne’s blog who wrote a blog with five question a prospective dominant could ask of a submissive. I have the blog marked in my RSS reader, so I will definately come around to that at some point.

Then there is still the promised blogs on the consequences of saying yes or no too eagerly and too ready, a follow up blog on the rights of submissives. Which is going to be an interesting one to write but it also requires me to have a bit more creative energy to contemplate and our my heart into it.

And last but not least there is the blog I want to write to Second Life restraints. It will serve as a good introduction for those new into this world and hopefully at some time a good way to hold a discussion on this subject. And while that is an relative easy in writing, I still need to have the time to sit down and do it because it will be no doubt a lengthy one. Possibly rivalling my longest blog (which features at three thousand eight-hundred words).

Tonight however, I think I am not going to write about these. I know! I know! I keep promising them and I keep putting them off. I am really sorry but life is just sometimes like that and I promise you that I will get around to them, one day, sooner or later (okay, granted, possibly later). But …
