Butt surely!!

Some people are just so darn helpful. It seems that there is a meme going around the Internet these days which was started by Marnix Malifozik, who wanted to start a meme and see how far he could run with it. This was in turn picked up on the New World Notes blog. And thus the wildfire started to spread.

So, that’s what it is about. Pictures of your backside, but in a still sexy and tasteful fashion. And, well after much pushing from both Velicia and Vanni, I have decided to go along with this and the result is below:

Vannesh Cannoli & Lex Berchot

Well since the last post about me being a rubber doll seemed to have been such a success, I decided a while ago to make a couple of more photos. This time however in a slightly more “traditional”.

Well `traditional’ goes of course only so far. The traditional part is the big but beautiful crafted Victorian key, that powers my doll insides. I love this key, it has at the same time this sturdy but most artistic look. And above all, it can be modified to be fitted with various scripts and coloured to my heart desired.

As for the outfit, mostly fully covered in shiny black latex. A knee-wide, wide, flowing latex dress, with wide pink petticoat underneath, a latex corset over transparent latex covering my skin. My arms encased in black latex opera gloves, latex stockings, and knee-high heeled latex boots.

But, as the saying goes, a picture tells more than a thousand words:

The key normally is in turn linked to my collar and the RLV viewer as well through some rather clever scripting. This means once my key runs out, my clock work stops, and I go silent. Until some kind soul takes pity on me and rewinds me again.

And for those that know me;  yes I know about the colours. But I found it somewhat fitting. I know, I know…..I am just weird like that

Well for the past couple of days I have been playing about with my various outfits, and I came across the idea of dressing myself as a rubber doll. This is not the first time I have played around with this idea. but since I have all new toys to play with, I thought it was time to revisit this topic:

The is the four different outfits below:

Basically most doll outfit consist off at least a POC catsuit, Fairlight boots and gloves, a *Kas* Corset and Chastity belt, the Hair is also got from ER and can be changed to suit your fancy.

The pink latex doll is probably the most shocking for everyone, as I don’t do pink that often, but I think it’s tastefully enough. The real extra here is the Scorpion Gas mask [1]

The Red latex doll is wearing the lockable ER hood. Sadly this does not come with scripts or a HUD but it’s delicious in the way it looks. I love the detail of the little heart shape locks.

The Bane / Black latex doll is the most basic of outfits and yet perhaps the most evil as well. Because with the bane helmet set to severe settings, it could make life basically pretty hard to live.

The blue latex doll is the least restrictive one. No isolation features, just a tight latex hood which actually leaves the mouth and eyes open. Granted that means you could use it for a whole level of others toys such as gags, etc. I am sure you can think of something.

I was thinking of putting a picture here of me as a pony, but I am going reserve that for another blog post. Still if something like that is your interest there is still ways to let me know.

I am going ask you to vote please which outfit do you like best, and leave a comment. Which outfit of me as a rubber doll do you like best, which outfit would you like to see me walking around in. If rubber dolls aren’t your thing, just vote for ‘Other’ and leave a comment what kind of outfit you would like to see me in.

Once in a while …..

I actually get to finsh things I have been working on for ages. Well, finally after two years, I managed to finalise one of my stories. I can believe it has taken me so long to finally bring this to a successful end.

The story is called “Cuffed“, and deal with the adventure of a girl called “Rona“. Rona is heading to the countries capital and meets the a wonderful woman for the first time in her life. The only contact she had before is over the Internet.

They meet… and the rest that happens, well I will say that it involves some bondage, some teasing, and some other bits and pieces. But really, you’ll need to read the rest of the story yourself.

A big thank you to my best friend elessandra and of course to my sis, Velicia. They both spend time proofreading my story.

As for the rest of you, I sincerely hope you enjoy it.

I don’t think it’s a huge surprise to most people who know me, that I am a fervent Linux user and a fervent RLV user as well.

Since Marine release the 1.14.* series of the viewer  (which is based on the 1.21.6 Second Life Viewer) a big  thanks to Loom Kish and Jessica Hultcrantz for taking care of the Linux RLV viewer, I was quickly able to switch to the latest viewer. Or so I thought …

Anyway it seems in their wisdom, LL have decided that they know exactly how the permissions of the files should be. Sadly this means that it has been made “impossible” to run the client in a multi user setup. After digging some around in the second life wiki I came across the following article, which states:

“On systems where multiple people use Second Life, you may wish to unpack Second Life, then have your root user move it to /opt and link /opt/path-to-Secondlife/secondlife to /usr/games. Any user who has access to play games should be able to run Second Life directly from the command line with secondlife.”

Anyway, I am slightly OCPD about how I install my clients. So let me quickly explain:

Basically I install the viewers in the /usr/local/games/ directory, then I use symlinks to hook everything together. The reason I do this is cause I have a ’starter script in /usr/local/bin/ which quickly calls the script that is needed. This gives me the ability to switch quickly between clients and have backup clients installed as needed, by just changing the symlink.

But I digress…

After installing the normal viewer this morning I tried to start it and nothing happened. I tried again, and indeed again, nothing. So after running the ./secondlife binary by hand I got a “permission denied”. When I looked at the permission of the files, to my shock I found out how well `mangled` they were.

I have talked about this in the SL Linux User groups inworld. But the best suggestion was “oh just install it in your home directory“, which frankly is the most absurd suggestion I have heard. Yes it will work, but it is not the way things are intended to run. Sorry, it just is not.

After poking around a little bit, I have decided to write a script that uses a couple of find statements to reset the permissions to files, to a more sane and normal setting. You can find a copy the script on a pastebin here, also since Worpdress.com doesn’t allow scripts or textfiles to be uploaded, I’ll post the PDF with the source code here.

Anyway with the permissions reset like they should be on a normal application: everything seems to be working just fine

Guess that after all, I am only human (mostly).

Yesterday, during the day as often, Mistress and I were talking over IM. In a moment of not having my brain engaged, self doubt and insecurity grabbed my mouth and ran away with it. Basically it came down to me voicing some of my worries about things happening in our life.

Not much was mentioned at that time and the conversation moved on. I thought that was kinda the last of it and felt already a bit bad for bringing up and resolved to talk to Mistress about it that night. Mistress mentioned she had a special plan for me as she is going away for the weekend.

So cue time to last night…

After she popped inworld, we talked a couple of minutes. Then she took me to our sky dungeon where She basically dropped it on me when I claimed to be /not/ naughty, that She had caught on with what I had said and wasn’t too pleased. Short of the bomb dropped and slapped me around the ears with a very rude awakening.

I am not going to rehash here what else happened. But I wished right that moment the ground could go up and swallow me. I could see that my doubts hurt Mistress and she was upset by them. I got a well deserved talking to and now, now I understand. that my fears are very much ungrounded. There is just one single truth: I am her pet. With everything that that means.

Mistress, I am terribly sorry for ever even thinking to doubt you.
Thank you for your patience and your care and love.

As part of this I will spend the weekend until Monday (at least) as a bane wandering around the world. I will most likely be accompanied by Thaddy, who is also a bane at the moment (but for different reasons).

So, why write this post?

Because part of me feels I have to. I want to remember what I did, why I did it and what happened. This will serve as a reminder.There is a whole lot more that is going on in my mind. I might write about it, I might not.

Sometimes, I really should keep my mouth shut. I really should take the following lesson to heart:

“I will not make my life more difficult than necessary.”

As .. well … You would think by now, I would learn, wouldn’t you? I mean, you would, right?

Here I was, at home, with Mistress, just talking about the various bits and bobs and joking. Happily curled up in front of her (as kittens are notoriously known to do) and doing the things I usually do, which might include nipping and being just general a silly, playfull kitten.

I can’t remember how exactly we got here, but at some point I started asking about trouble. It was getting late, so Mistress gently chided me, that I might be in a whole lot of trouble where it not for the fact that it was pretty late.

See, at this point, anyone with an ounce of common sense and grounding in the ways of the wise would have taken her word for it and just left it at that. It’s a good thing I still have the cute thing going for me.

After some teasing about how much trouble I exactly would be in and what this would entail, I ended up being muted through my collar and shortly later I was ‘helped’ inside the banesuit once more again.

And that is where I am now, and have been for the past couple of days. Locked away and shielded from the outside world. For how long? who knows. It may be some time, It may be not. Time will tell.

Right now I am just relaxing outside our home. Perhaps soon I will start wandering around various sims or making my ways around. If you see me, feel free to say hi. Just realise that I won’t be able to really respond much, it at all.

So yes, I guess it really meant that lesson has not sunk in that I should not make my life more difficult for myself than I really need. But all in all I also got to remember:

Mistress is not evil, just merely kind.

She really is ) And frankly, part of me loves to be as much restrained and completely at her mercy and whims as I love seeing and able to talk to my friends.

Well, it’s finally there. After a leave of absence, Loom Kish, finally released the much waited and anticipated RestrainedLife Viewer for Linux. This is version 1.12 which is based on the Second Life 1. 1.20.15 (release 92456).

This brings also to an end, my ongoing frustrations for trying to compile the own viewer come hereby (or perhaps for now) finally to an end. For some reason, The viewer either does not compile cleanly on my Linux box (either normal, or chrooted). Even following the various instructions and with help of Make-SL [1] script by Henri Beauchamp didn’t seem to help me very much. (yes I still have a build log available if anyone is desperately interested).

The only bug I have found so far is that when compiling from source, the “res-dl” directory is not created. Now the official Linux client from Linden Labs has this directory. When I compiled the Second Life viewer from scratch this directory was missing.

Now as far as I can tell; This directory contains a series of bitmaps used for context sensitive feedback of the cursor. (much buzzwords!). Without this folder being present, Second Life still works just perfectly fine. However, you wont get a changing cursor (into a hand, a finger, a magnifying glass.

The FIX: copy this folder from a normal client, and restart your Restrained Life client and all is/should be well
