Five weeks passed Saturday. After a week which was both interesting and hard.
Tuesday evening Vanni had her “Hot under the Collar” event. Mistress and I happily could attend. While we were somewhat fashionably late it was fun to “see” other people for a bit. Although I noticed how quick emotions play up when being isolated. As simple as just clicking onto something became a major chore.Still I managed all in all, with a lot of Mistress help.
The rest of the week I spend between our dungeon and home. and it was hard going at times. I was definitely missing my friends and struggling with being so restrained.
But last night, Mistress decided that after five weeks, over a 180, a-hundred hours, locked up and incommunicado, as they say, that for now it was enough. She removed my bondage and all restraints and restrictions.
So what are my records now? Or rather how long have I been locked away from everything ?

And yet, still a small part of me, regrets being free. Guess that’s the “insane” part of me, the need for that feeling of total loss of control in many ways. But for now, I am will get back to my normal self and be alive ..
I am sure that at some point I’ll end up being tied up.

I am amazed. Such guts. Such an inspiration! I have been picking at a sore that turns out to be a need for isolation. On Saturday night I saw Mistress Kelley modelling Wnter Ventura’s new ER Isolation Hood. The effect was like an electric shock.
Now you show us what can be done. I am in awe. I am stalking an idea to give me just a taste of what you have achieved. You give me a banquet when I was looking for food for thought. Insane? No an exercise in discipline, surely?
I need to stalk this concept with care, but the pathway is now lit and I can see the way ahead.
Sorry to bug you lex, but in your previous post you had a shot of your viewer, showing a “nick” list and chat range. Which viewer is that, I have RLV and it doesn’t look at all like that.

it’s actually the standard Restrained Life Viewer, but the Linux version. Although there should not be much difference between that version and the windows/OS X version.
If you look at the top of your `chat window’, you’ll see a small round-ish blue button, marked ” «” (or “>>”, if you click on that, it will pop up, or pop out the nick list. As you can see in the previous picture, the buttom now is marked ” »” (or “>>”)
Granted, I wiped out the chat actually happening in the window, cause there was some well *grins* private stuff going on

Speaking of isolation and such Ayesha, have you seen the bane helmets that Scorpion has on sale? They are quite interesting, and can be set to be really evil as well.
I know that Sable Janus is working on a new version of her helmet that would even restrict more.
And the scary thing is, I think I owe Mistress some serious time as a bane (once again) among others.
I seriously do hope that your experiences will be as positive as mine.

Thanks for that info. I will look around and check my RLV when I get home (I have only SLV at work, which is where I am now).
I’m going to look at those bane helmets, but my (hopefully to be) Mistress has some ideas which parallel banishment-style existence. She has a truly wicked and inventive mind!
I have had only positive results from two brief isolations, but after 12 hours I realised how dependent on outside contact one becomes, and how hard it is to subsequently interact with even friends! Some of my friends don’t understand why I do this – I now realise I can’t explain it in terms they understand!

Ayesha, I am glad you had positive experiences. I think it’s very hard for people to really understand isolation experiences. In a world where social interaction is the key and norm, being shielded away from that all and narrowed down to the bare minimum, with perhaps just one person, is beyond a lot of people.
I think also it’s also quite an instinctive experience to like, love and really get. I know some of my friends don’t get it and some of them do.
I haven’t actually seen or rather used the ER Isolation hoods, so I am not quite sure what they can and can’t do. I now with version 3 of Scorpio’s bane helmet, there should be things like, not being allowed inside structures and perhaps even regular maintenance (which admittedly could be rather fun). So got that to look forward to. I know the newer version helmets (1.2.x or something), at least fixed a bug in the hud so that’s good (it wouldn’t self destruct if detached, so there would be huds all over the place).
I also love scorpions gasmask, and it works really well. especially with a white catsuit, white hair and well everything pretty much white .. it’s an awesome effect. I’d thought I had a post about it, might have to rummage around for a bit and find it, if not put one up.
Of course the danger is, that I get locked into it *grins*
